Start Your LeaveWizard Journey

This article will help you start your LeaveWizard journey as an employee. When your company administrator adds users to the system, they assign them a role, either Administrator, Manager or Employee. They can change the role at a later date if required. Depending on the assigned role, the user will have different access to web pages and functions on LeaveWizard.

Introduction

As an employee, you will have basic access to the system to allow you to manage your own leave, make requests, check your holiday allowance(s) and see the approval status of your requests, conveniently.

As well as setting your role, the company administrator(s) can also further control what you can and cannot see and do. Please understand that LeaveWizard has no control over your company settings. Your role, allowances, visibility and approver assignment are all set by your company.

When you use the system, you need to have a username which has the form of an email address, an email address and a password. Your administrator assigned your username and email address when they added you. Both may be the same, but do not have to be. Only an administrator can change these and the username must be unique to the system.

Optionally, when adding you, they can choose to send you a system generated ‘Welcome’ email. They may notify you separately of your username and email. Either way, you need to create a password for your user account. The Welcome email has a link in it and will guide you through the process.

Login

You can sign in to the LeaveWizard app on our website by clicking the ‘Log in’ button on the main menu and then entering your username and password on the login page. If you didn’t get a ‘Welcome’ email, you can use the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the page to create a password.

If you know your company uses LeaveWizard but they have not advised you of your username, then please contact your company LeaveWizard administrator or your Human Resources (HR) department. We can advise you who your administrators are if you are unsure of whom to contact.

When you log into LeaveWizard, the system displays your Dashboard. We have designed this to provide quick and easy access to all the leave information you need for your company. At the top of the page is a menu, to help you navigate around the LeaveWizard web app.

You can also log in and access the ‘Forgot Password’ link on our mobile app if you prefer.
