Allowing Events To Be Requested In The Past

Normally events cannot be requested for dates in the past by Managers and Employees, but only by Administrators. However, sometimes you may want to allow some event types to be requested in the past by anyone and this can be achieved by ticking the ‘Enable In The Past’ box in the Restrictions section of the event type details page of the event type. To access that page, highlight the event type on the Event Types and Allowances page and then either click the ‘Edit’ button on the sub-menu or right click the event type and select ‘Edit…’ from the pop-up menu.

Once this has been done, any user can make requests for the event type for dates in the past.
