My Settings For Managers

The ‘My Settings’ for managers page is a menu option on the user menu, which is accessed via the ‘Head’ icon on the far right-hand side of the main menu and allows some user specific preferences to be changed.

Sub-Menu

There are no options on the sub-menu for managers.

My Settings

The ‘My Settings’ page has three sections; Preferences, Change Password and Outlook/Google Calendar Integration.

Preferences Section

The preferences section has one dropdown to set your preferred culture and, optionally, three tick boxes if your company allows you to select email notification. If you are not receiving emails from us, then you should tick these boxes.

Receive Email Notifications

When displayed, this tick-box allows you to select if you want to receive system emails, such as when someone approves your leave request. Messages will always go to your LeaveWizard Inbox, but you can choose if the system sends emails as well.

Send Email On Leave Request

When displayed, the system will grey out this tick-box unless you tick Receive Email Notifications. It allows you to select if you also want the system to email you when you request leave.

Send Email On Overtime Request

When displayed, the system will grey out this tick-box unless you tick Receive Email Notifications. It allows you to select if you also want the system to email you when you request overtime.

Preferred Culture

This setting allows you to select a preferred culture from a dropdown box of countries. It changes the way the system displays dates and some other country specific items.

Change Password Section

The Change Password Section has three fields; Old Password, New Password and Confirm Password. All fields are mandatory, as indicated by the red star next to each field. Enter your password information and then click the Change My Password button to update your password.

If your company has configured Single Sign On (SSO) you will also see a section to allow you to connect and link your LeaveWizard account with your identity provider (IdP) account to allow you to use SSO.

If your company has configured SCIM provisioning to manage users, then the option to change your password from within LeaveWizard will no longer be available. You need to do this on your IdP website and sign into LeaveWizard from there or use SSO to login to our website.

Outlook / Google Calendar Integration Section

This section will have one or two links which you can click to synchronise your leave calendar with an external calendar, such as Outlook or Google. Depending on how your administrator has set up your LeaveWizard system, you can subscribe to your personal leave or optionally subscribe to all visible leave, which includes leave for other users.

The LeaveWizard administrator can select which event types the system publishes on external calendars. It lists the events they have chosen here. In this example, it will only publish Holiday, Maternity Leave, Paternity Leave, Public Holiday and Sickness on the external calendars.
