Allow Users To Request Events In The Past
Normally, managers and employees cannot request events for dates in the past. Only administrators can do this by overriding the rule. However, sometimes you want to allow some event types to be requested in the past by anyone. You can achieve this by ticking the ‘Enable In The Past’ box in the Restrictions section of the event type details page of the event type. To access that page, highlight the event type on the Event Types and Allowances page. Then either click the ‘Edit’ button on the sub-menu or right click the event type and select ‘Edit…’ from the pop-up menu.
Once you have done this, any user can make requests for the event type for dates in the past.
